Adult Study Classes

Emmanuel Baptist has an active group of adults, varying in age and interests. Each class is unique and has activities suited to their interest, from dinners to class trips to Myrtle Beach. Each class is also involved in one or more service projects per year.

The following is a list of adult classes at Emmanuel:

Wendall Lanham Class — approximate age 35 and up. Singles and married couples. Teacher, Ed Gaunch

Rev. Sam Hill Class — approximate age 35-55. Singles and married couples. Teacher, Mark Miller

Christian Couples Class — approximate age 55 and above. Singles and married couples. Teacher, Jean Cunningham

Roger Williams Class — approximate age 55 and above. Mostly married couples and some singles. Teachers, Bill Reed and Chuck and Jean Rhodes.

Lydia Bible Class — a women’s class approximately 65 and above. Lead by class members.

CIA (Christians In Action) — a class of singles and couples age 35-60. This class seeks to address contemporary living from the Christian perspective. Teacher, Janet Caruthers.

Small Groups – Variety of small groups are also meet throughout the week, as an alternative to Sunday School.
