Bob Burdette Center

The mission of the Bob Burdette Center is to provide a healthy environment for youth to experience personal success and to become positive influences in the community.

Reading room
Choir
Cooking
Creative dance
Girl Scouts / Cub and Boy Scouts
Special programs include a research-based violence prevention program called Second Step

Stonewall Jackson Middle School students attend the BBC and walk to the center after classes are dismissed for the day.

The Bob Burdette Center’s main location is at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1401 Washington Street, W. Charleston
